The Ansmann Mad Monkey is their latest offering for the 2wd off road RC buggy enthusiast and is very well designed radio controlled car indeed.

Ansmann have basically redesigned their Mad Rat buggy from the ground up, with a now centred motor and transverse battery pack weight is distributed evenly and traction is as good as it could ever be! The 2WD rear axle drive train is designed for maximum efficiency and transfers power to the ground via a rugged, sealed gearbox, guaranteeing optimum acceleration.

Heavy-duty oil filled, coil sprung shocks the Mad Monkey tackles pretty much any jump with ease and can handle corners very well indeed with minimal understeer. Perfectly balanced weight distribution, steady traction make this an RC Car well worth considering for both experience and younger, inexperienced drivers. Two motor options are currently available for this RC buggy; high-performance brushed motor for moderate speed and performance, or a brushless motor giving you top end speed and power on any track or surface.

The Ansmann Mad Monkey also comes in either Self Assembly kit form, or fully assembled Ready To Race format with a brushless motor.
